WHAT DO YOU NEED TO FEEL GOOD ABOUT YOURSELF?
I need to be out of my mind and in this human body of mine. Feeling this incredible being that I get to experience this world with for a little while.
Things like meditation, movement, in- and exhale of creative expression help me to have a loving relationship with my body, mind and heart.
HOW DOES YOUR CREATIVE PROCESS LOOK LIKE?
Oh my! The creative process feels as unpredictable as the ocean, it ebbs and flows. A guest that can be invited but might never show up. It's quite an exercise of surrendering and trusting. I have yet to establish a bit of structure, such as a regular time to sit down and play or write.
WHAT DOES A SUSTAINABLE ATTITUDE MEAN FOR YOU?
Sustainability means to me that something is of cyclic and transformative nature rather than artificial. What comes around goes around. It doesn't run out, depletes, vanishes or the other extrem builds up indefinitely without changing states. A sustainable attitude translates this into action. That being said, I feel like a hypocrite most of the time, cause I am doing one thing sustainably and another I struggle with. Continuously learning or better remembering how to live as part of the natural cycles.
HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE OPAAK?
What I have experienced about Opaak so far has felt like a slow running river leaving the mountain spring, taking its time to caress the curves of the river bed. Gently expanding into a full stream with space for all that wants to explore its nourishing waters. Very beautifully crafted lingerie and people behind the scenes who seem to value nature's variety, authentic shapes and colors of life and the pleasure this body can sense and express.
WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE OPAAK ITEM AND WHY?
I really loved wearing spacer bra Maggie and high thong Laura - the shape, the look on my body. So sensual yet comfy.
